An all day charity poker tournament hosted by Ryan turned into an opportunity for a documentary series and some great portraits.

THE CHALLENGE: A sparse and dimly lit room with minute repetitive poker actions for hours.
THE MISSION: Dive into the mind of a poker player and legion patron, be friendly, have fun, try the breakfast, have a beer, and hunt for the most beautiful and compelling scenes possible throughout the day. Showcase the Legion space itself and reflect the warmth of the environment and staff. Stay alert all day, be fresh when it comes time to photograph the final table and the winners, and get some great closing shots for the end of the story.
